The Latin District is located in Al Alamein City on the Alexandria-Matrouh Road near Lake El Alamein. It is sprawled on a total land area of about c404 acres. The project was constructed in two phases. The first phase, ZONE 01, included excavation, backfilling, foundation works, insulation, and concrete structure works. The second phase, also in ZONE 01, included building, finishing, electromechanical works, and general site coordination works. The scope of work for this project included the construction of 23 buildings in 9 clusters. Buildings are divided into two types: ground plus 4 typical floors, and ground plus 7 typical floors. The project covers a total built-up area of 278,754 m2 utilizing approximately 186,000 m3 of concrete. The structural system used in the construction of this project is post-tension slabs with a total amount of approximately 1573 tons of cables.
